Battle Creek Daily Journal, Wednesday, May 9, 1894
Mrs. Jennie E. Dauchy, nee Jennie Barringer, died last night at the family residence, No. 21 North Division of spinal trouble, aged 45 year. She leave besides the sorrowing husband, two children. residing in this city, Earl Waterbury and Mrs. Grace Reid, and a wide circle of friends to mourn her loss. The funeral will be held Friday, at 2 o'clock p. m.
