After being ill but a short time, Frederick J Brogan passed away at two-thirty this morning at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Brogan, 215 West Van Buren street from apoplexy.

Mr. Brogan has been connected with the office force of the Advance Thresher company for some time, but was recently moved to La Porte, Indiana.

A week ago Sunday, he was taken ill there and came home. At first, his condition was not considered serious but yesterday he grew much worse and passed away early this morning.

Mr. Brogan was a very fine young man and had hosts of friends in this city who will be shocked to learn of his sudden death.

He is survived by his parents, three sister, Mr. P.E. Duffy, the Misses Mary and Rose Brogan, and two brothers, Charles and John, all of this city. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
