Mrs. Eva Wright, 88, of 8805 Manor Lane, Traverse City, died Tuesday evening at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility following an extended illness.
Mrs. Wright was born September 9, 1882 in Leipsic, Ohio the daughter of Manson and Rilla Spangler, Mrs. Wright grew up in the Ohio area. She married William Scheets and the couple lived in Traverse City. Mr. Scheets preceded her in death in June of 1949. In July of 1959 she was united in marriage to Jude Wright, who preceded her in death in January of 1961.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Enid Sanborn of Traverse City; two granddaughters, Mrs Dakota and Mrs. Robert (Yvonne) Burbank of New York state, eight great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Friday at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City. Burial will be made in Yuba Cemetery.
