Battle Creek Journal, Wednesday, April 23, 1879
Mrs. Fannie died Friday night,of typhoid fever. The funeral was held at the family residence on the Reese road, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Her son, Frank Kirby, returned home Friday morning from Nebraska and was made aware of the death of his brother Albert and sister Fannie. Mr. Kirby is recovering and is able to be out.
