George B. Jenkins, aged sixty-four years, passed away at his home. East Fountain street, yesterday afternoon at 1: 40 o’clock Deceased was born in Verona and has lived in Battle creek all his life. He was in business in this city for many years, ducting a meat market on North Jefferson avenue, in the old Ward block. and later on South Jefferson avenue. in the Gleason block. Mr. Jenkins is survived by a wife and four children. Mrs. C. B. Halladay. Mrs. Chas. Dorman, Mrs. Clayton Spaulding. all of this city and Mrs. D. A. Benjamin, of Toledo, Ohio. He was a brother of Mrs. Rose Paxton. Mrs. L. K. Phelps and Mrs. R. W. Howe, deceased, all of this city, and Mrs. Charles Huggett. of Olympia, Washington. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
