OBITUARY Menominee Range Newspaper Dec 19 1889
Alexander McRae, of Iron River, the 11 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. C. A. McRae, was accidently shot & almost instantly killed by his 10 year old brother last Thursday. The parents were at Hemlock at the time of the accident, which occurred while the younger brother was attempting to dry a charge from an old rifle that was in the house.
