Larry J. Dengler, 62, of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #52, Drill Team.
Larry was born June 13, 1951 in Rock Rapids, Iowa to Alfred & Arleen (Ernest) Dengler and served in the US Navy.
Mr. Dengler had worked in assembly/manufacturing for many years. He was currently working for the Letica Co. in Fremont, IN. He had formerly worked for the Southwind and Acorn Companies both formerly of Quincy and as a mechanic at Max Larsen Ford.
Larry was a member of the Coldwater American Legion and enjoyed hobby farming, raising beef cattle. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Larry most of all, loved to tinker in his garage and spend time riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Holly Dengler, his brothers Donald & Dennis Dengler and his sister Carol Croften.
Memorials may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
Note: Larry's ashes were interred on his daughter's grave.
