Adam G. Mohney was the son of Abraham Mohney and Eva Christianna Schmidt.
He married (first) Maria Catharina Shick on 10 Jun 1837 in Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
He married (second) Catherine Haupt on 18 Oct 1853 in Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
Adam was buried 11 Sep 1896.

ADAM G. MOHNEY
Adam G. Mohney, died at the home of his son, Eli, in the village Wednesday Sept. 9, aged 82 years.
The deceased was born in Armstrong Co., PA., March 17, 1814, and came to Michigan about 30 years ago. Two wives and four children have preceded him to the other world, and 15 children survive him.
In his younger days he joined the Lutheran Church, but on coming to this viicinity where the society was not represented he united with the Evangelical denomination.
The funeral was held at the U. B. church this morning at 10:30 conducted by Rev. Hutchinson, a friend whom Mr. Mohney had known many years.
